The 3CX3000F1 is a low-mu, all ceramic-and-metal, forced-air cooled, external anode power triode with a maximum plate dissipation rating of 4000 watts. This tube is intended for use as an audio amplifier or modulator. Two of these tubes in Class AB1 service will deliver up to 10 kilowatts maximum-signal plate output power at 6000 plate volts without drawing grid current. The 3CX3000F1 has flexible leads for the grid and filament connections, which can simplify socketing in audio applications. |
