The 4CX5000A / 8170 / RS 2014 CL is a compact high-power ceramic and metal tetrode cooled by forced air. It is useful as an oscillator, amplifier, or modulator at frequencies up to 110 megahertz and is particularly suited for use as a linear single-sideband amplified, Class-AB1 audio amplifier, or as a screen-modulated radio-frequency amplifier.
